Carrowkeel is a beautifully situated megalithic hill top passage tomb cemetery in the Bricklieve Mountains. Consisting of 14 cairns, dolmen tombs and passage graves, each identified with letters, most of the cairns are round except cairn E which is a long oval shape. One of the cairns (O, I believe) is shown in this picture. They have been dated between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. One of the cairns is open and is lit up by the sun's rays on the longest day of the year.
